Broker Assistant ~ Investment Advisor Assistant

Qualification Requirements

  • Must have securities industry / investment industry experience
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • College degree (business or finance preferred but not required)
  • Must have significant experience in Microsoft Office and data base applications
  • The ability to multi-task and handle complex projects and take direction from multiple directions
  • Pass Series 65 Exam within 3 months of employment
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy and drive for excellence

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new clients; Processing applications and account servicing forms
  • Transferring assets; Reconciling transactions
  • Assist in preparing for client appointments and preparing client portfolio reports
  • Maintaining client data base; file documents (primarily electronically) daily
  • Working closely with custodians and other professionals on service requests
  • Maintaining excellent communications with clients, staff, custodians, vendors, etc
  • Other general office and staff support duties as necessary and assigned
