Good place to work but can feel disconnected from your coworkers

The culture here is pretty conservative but if you can live with that the work is usually interesting and the people are sharp.
The conservative culture manifests itself in a strict dress code during the non-summer months and in most decisions being driven from the top. From a tech perspective there are a lot of projects but nothing that is pushing the envelope or ground-breaking.
The benefits are good and the institute does take care of its staff with a nice office space, free coffee and events outside of work on occasion.
Low pressure atmosphere but still very active, great benefits
