iParty Corp. is a party goods retailer chain operating 50 stores. The Company caters to consumers seeking party goods, party planning advice and relevant information. iParty also licenses the name iParty.com (at www.iparty.com) to a third party in exchange for royalties. As of December 27, 2008, iParty operated 25 stores in Massachusetts, seven in Connecticut, – more... six in New Hampshire, three in Rhode Island, three in Maine, one in Vermont and five stores in Florida. In January 2008, the Company acquired two additional stores and closed one existing store in Rhode Island, and closed one store in Massachusetts. Its stores range in size from approximately 8,000 square feet to 20,500 square feet and average approximately 10,300 square feet in size. iParty leases its properties, typically for 10 years and usually with options from its landlords to renew the Company's leases for an additional five or 10 years.
