Pros: benefits, 40 hours a week, room for growing.
Cons: unpaid lunch, un choosable schedules, competitive.
This is not a terrible place to work, just need improvement which is a possibility for the future. This job should be a team based job and not seem so competitive. Due to the competitive behavior and environment the job leaves little growing for relationships with co-workers. Other than that the job is reliable and has opportunity to grow if you are willing to work hard for it and the supervisors are awesome.

Academy Bay Support Manager (Former Employee), Richardson, TXJuly 18, 2015
A nice place to work, with benefits and lots of opportunity. The management department is Great. The hardest thing about the Job is learning the system, after that everything else will be a peace of cake. This was my first real tech support job and within a 9 month period I moved up to the management dept. As long as you are willing to do the work and dedicated this is a great place to work

CUSTOMER SALES REPERSENTATIVE (Former Employee), Miramar, FLJuly 12, 2015
Pros: Hour lunch
Cons: Supervisors, numbers
They expect you to be God on the phone, even with the most stubborn customers, great pay and great amount of time for breaks. Supervisors dont always assist. The people who work there are mostly great spirited.

A typical day at work will consist of answering customer calls, solving customer problems, and processing payments over the phone. Patience is the key for working over the phone with frustrated customers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REP (Former Employee), New Albany, OHJuly 9, 2015
Pros: no pros
Cons: immaturity is very common among management, lack of organization
Typical workday was very slow and sometimes you are sent home when there are decreases in call flow. There is a lot of office drama and a rumor mill as well that often crosses over into the actual processes related to the job. There is not really a balance.

Collection goals were set too high for the type of debt we were collecting.
Debt Collector for SallieMae Student Loans (Former Employee), Plymouth, MNJuly 7, 2015
Pros: nice cafeteria with a wide assortment of lunches to choose from cooked in front of you by a chef.
Cons: Collecting enough money to hit your collection goal each month.
Management was usually in a grouchy mood and weren't interested in helping me if I had a caller on the phone who had questions that I didn't know the answer to. Coworkers were either in their own groups or they weren't very social... they kept to themselves. They were respectful however. Most enjoyable part of the job was getting lucky with a huge collection payment. SallieMae student loan debt is difficult to collect on. You either get $20 a month from them or pay the entire loan off. The majority of the time, you couldn't get anyone on the phone. That was the difficult part... was trying to get someone on the phone. What I learned is to stay calm in stressful situations and be ready for any type of question the caller may have.
