Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Withdrawal Processor Specialist to support the completion of all participant and client requests for either loan or distribution. Below is an outline of the Withdrawal Processors basic responsibilities:

*Review incoming paperwork for completeness; follow up to obtain missing information and resolve problems timely.

*Determine eligibility for payment specific to the distribution type (hardship, termination, in-service, MRD, etc.); calculate vesting to determine both the amount of the distribution and forfeiture. Submit for administrator’s review and approval prior to submission to custodian.

*Validate eligibility and terms of the loan, calculate vesting and maximum loan availability and prepare loan documents. Submit for administrator’s review and approval prior to submission to custodian.

*Extensive participant phone and email interaction.

*Interaction with multiple custodians and recordkeeping systems in order to process and monitor withdrawals.



Bachelor’s Degree is a plus


3 years previous retirement plan loans and distribution experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

*Working knowledge of retirement plan withdrawal and loan regulations.

*Good research, analytical and problem solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail.

*Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

*Strong computer skills.

*Excellent customer service skills which including managing participant expectations and provide superior follow-up services.

*Ability to tactfully handle various personality types.
