Senior Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaSeptember 19, 2015
Too much work as the management overloads you with projects and assignments if you are the kind of person who does quality work and produces results with good value.

All the learning I did was based on the projects I worked with, but there was no clear training program to help you advance with your career. Because there are lots of good benefits, you generally tend to forget about the career advancements.

The culture is very much dependant on connections. If you know how to make your boss or the upper manager happy, then you will guarantee good progression in you career.
Pros
Stable work and good benefits.
Cons
No career development

Summer Internship Program (Former Employee) –  jeddah, saudi arabiaDecember 11, 2013
This is a 20th century organization with middle eastern governmental bureaucracy and aweful work ethic. This is not the best place to learn and employees are not innovative. If you are looking into the IDB at a senior position, it is fantastic as the organization is part of some incredible programs and initiatives. However, there is very little communication with colleges, and it is not uncommon to find people sleeping on the job.
Pros
great work times, great programs
Cons
poor work ethic, not innovative
