Customer interaction, checking customers in for their flight, boarding and deplaning. Island Air likes to make sure the customers get an extra island experience by waving to the planes as it comes in and leaves our terminal. It's a fun experience for both the employees and our extended family, customers. There's a lot of communication which keeps everyone aware of what goes on and everyone's job responsibilities. After training it's still nerve wrecking to put what you learned to use but it gets better with time and practice. The senior workers are really helpful and good at training new hires.
