Travel Director (Former Employee), Des Moines, IA – August 24, 2014
Pros: got to travel for free
Cons: no assignments, no advancement opportunities, bad management.
Worked here briefly. I can barely call it work because in six months they offered me less than 4 weeks worth of assignments. Travel groups were super cliquey with a huge divide between new employees and employees who had been there longer. One time when I asked a leader a question she actually told me she would not help train a new employee because – more... I would end up getting assignments over her if I knew how to do more things. I was required to do a ton of 'online training' to learn things that were never applied on the job. All in all, the most unpleasant job I have ever had. – less
