Good place to work but contracts are uncertain due to nature of the work. Training is not quite as comprehensive as necessary. Can feel quite independent.

worked alone was treated poorly by centrylink techs. Management was fair, communication was always a issue. The pay was fair but the wear and tear on pov was more than I would have preferred.

CableCom leaves much to be desired
Project Coordinator (Former Employee) –  South San Francisco, CAAugust 9, 2017
ITC seems like a great staffing company and I had no problem with them. I was hired by ITC to work for CableCom, which is a Construction company that contracts for Comcast to bring service to customers. The management is the worst I've ever experienced. There is no training procedure in place when you get hired and you are supposed to just observe other Project Coordinators that are very busy and not trained to be trainers. You are supposed to "ask the right questions" and figure out everything on your own. The management puts a ton of stress on the employees to get everything done under a tight deadline, without offering support, guidance, resources.
Pros
Some freedom to manage projects
Cons
Stress, chaoitic environment

Technician (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOJune 1, 2017
Installing for google fiber in KC and Austin TX. Was not technically complicated but was somewhat dangerous. Working outside and in attics can be difficult. Hard to stay motivated 100% of the time. Benefits not very good but the pay was fine.

Good place to work in my opinion, the environment was always about getting things done, which made focusing on work easier. The nature of the work is such that there's always something more to do. Never a dull moment.
Pros

May 2017 Google Fiber Installation Specialist (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXMay 4, 2017
Zero accountability from both technicians and management. If you need a place to make money the hours are available. Ability to complete jobs without any part of management upholding quality.
Pros
tools and trucks supplied
Cons
Benefits I'm sure are better at a fast food franchise.

Stay away from ITC
Cable Technician (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOJanuary 31, 2017
This company has no clue of what they are doing. Management are jerks and treat people like they own them. They make you park in an area that employees steal your catalytic converter and they don't reimburse you. That's 250 dollars a pop. Management likes to play games and ridicule you. worse company I have ever worked for.

Good Company Poor management
Small Business Technician (Current Employee) –  Kansas City, MOJanuary 18, 2017
ITC Service Group is new to Kansas City and has made many changes none to help or support their workforce. They have cut back on raises though they show a growing yearly profit. It's who you know not what you know, if you rub the right shoulders your on your way to the top for a short time then shot down by the next eager beaver on the way up. Though a friendly environment at certain shops, they don't follow same policies. Turn over is huge. If you don't take what they say for face value and willing to put your head down and take the minor raises bad insurance no real incentives then this is the place for you. It's a stepping stone to bigger better things. ITC loves working you and keeping the profits to them selves....
Pros
Good starting pay, Friendly enviroment
Cons
Low raises, Terrible insurance, No incentives

CAD Drafter (Former Employee) –  Sacramento, CAJuly 6, 2016
Entry level that gives you years of experience on a resume for another company and not much else.

If you want competitive wages, go somewhere else.
If you want good benefits go somewhere else.
If you want job security, go somewhere else.
If you want job satisfaction, go somewhere else.
Pros
Free lunch last Fri of the month
Cons
Low wages, poor benefits, no 401k matching
