Onsite Programmer Analyst (Current Employee) –  South Burlington, VTFebruary 8, 2016
I currently work as an onsite programmer analyst at IBM and my employer is iTech US Inc.

I report my day to day activities to my manager at IBM and weekly report to my employer at iTech for the hours I spent at IBM.

I am responsible for most of the client facing activities eg: discussing business requirements, training clients to use OpenPages Cognos.

I review the requirements and convert them to internal technical specifications and assign resources to develop the BI reports/JAVA reports as necessary.
Pros
Very Transparent
Cons
Not many Cons really. Only one I heard of is people on bench have a hard time.

Innovative fitness solution company with positive work environment
Outside Sales (Former Employee) –  Richmond, VAFebruary 2, 2015
This company provided a great work environment allowing sales reps to generate our own leads and work schedule. Working with health clubs, schools and others interested in providing an innovative, fun way to get their members, students and employes active is a rewarding profession. Job security in this new field and in particular, with iTech Fitness was very questionable as equipment failure was a very common occurrence with relatively expensive units. Many unhappy customers led to word getting out and the company merging with another and eventually going out of business.
Pros
Energetic, positive work environment
Cons
Equipment and other hardware was very weak and often broke creating many service request and returns

not the greatest experience overall
Production Support Analyst (Former Employee) –  Farmington CTJune 16, 2013
I was a contractor working with ITech Solutions and placed in a job in Farmington CT with a health care firm working in their production support team . The initial relationship was great. I dealt with a great guy who was personable and was in contact with me every step of the way until I had landed the position after multiple interviews and reference checks. I would receive health benefits which for a consulting/ contract for hire firm is still not the norm and I was grateful for that. But that is where the good stuff I have to say about the company ends. My position that contract firms leave their people hanging out to dry in favor of their own benefit be it their own pay off by way of commissions or fostering a further relationship at said individual's expense was what I had prevented me from taking contract positions in the past. ITech had told me I was doing a bang up job and the client was potentially offering me a direct to hire position which is what this was would be imminent. Now I am not holding them responsible for when the company changed its mind a month later down from five months of a good review and did not renew my contract or offer me any position at all. That was on Connecticare in the way that they do business in not even giving me two weeks notice which is professional courtesy in most place you might work and in their lack of organization which you can see in my review of them. What I do fault ITech solutions for is not informing me that they where in contact with my "then" employers months previous and had not received an answer in terms of the  more... transition to a full time role and that was over a month before they made their decision to let me go. Practicing due diligence suggests that you would let the contractor working for you know that ambivalent on the fence status and not keep that information to yourself. That is somewhat in the middle as being unethical as a business decision. And after I was let go from my contract.. ITech Solutions representatives said that they would be in touch to place me in the next role they had lined up and I never heard from them again after that point. And in looking back I saw the had roles in CT in my profession within ITech searching indeed some as close as 40 minutes from my area they just never bothered to reach out as they had promised . To me that is burning a bridge with someone professionally to a) not notify them that a potential change of heart was coming from their client perhaps so that you did not bolt early and leave for a more stable opportunity b) and two promising to keep in touch and then just fall into a communications blackout tells me the rest of the story. I have a job now that is a full time role in my profession that is within my comfort zone that I looked for and earned from my own diligence ..however it is my recommendation that if you decide to become a contractor or a consultant or you already are one that you seriously evaluate the company that is your representative agency because if you do not you can be left hanging with nothing tangible at the end of the day.  less
Pros
Health benefits, great intitial comunication with contractor
Cons
lack of due dilligence
