slave drivers
Superintendent Operations (Former Employee), Long Beach, CA – October 22, 2012
Pros: decent salary
Cons: low "per hour" rate
Decent salary... BUT to earn it, you'll need to work 20 hours in addition to the weekly 40.

Need to be 5:30am and leave 5:30pm, 12 hour x 5 days you are "exempt" so forget about overtime.

A good place to start
Technician Support Specialist (Former Employee), Santa Cruz, CA – October 18, 2012
Pros: nice and helpful staff and management, occasional side projects, education-first attitude, malleable schedule
Cons: none.
Both management and coworkers are friendly and easy to get along with. Older staff are knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics and are always willing to answer questions and help. Components of the job differ throughout the year, with customer service (both in person and over the phone) being especially emphasized during the beginning of the year – more... and start of every school quarter - it is a necessary skill for the job. A few times a quarter staff will be assigned projects as the need for them arises, very good learning experiences. Both team and individual work are expected. – less

A typical day
Labourer (Former Employee), Bridgend – February 21, 2013
Cons: last person left on the site.
In a typical day i would start the day by stocking the toilet rolls and handwash in the toilets and make sure there were no bins over flowing. I would then clean houses out were other trades had been working, whilst stacking pallets and keeping the site clean and tidy to ensure the smooth running of the site. at the end of the day i would have to make – more... sure all security fences were secure and no body could get in to the site. the most enjoyable part of the day was keeping the stores tidy and to make sure everything was accessable for all the different trades. – less
