Management sucks!
Management really sucks, do not care about workers safety.

You learn all aspects of your career on the job. Teach students if applicable. Help staff members with other tasks.

I was sent at least 5 job apps and by failing me they ruined my career.

Production line assembly of radios for military contracts. Keep pace to meet daily/wkly assembly quota. 10 min break in am Half hour lunch, 10 min break in pm. 8 hour work day 40 hours per week.

Big Company but locally had some issues due to the extremely particularity of the business, which ITT was not very familiar with. The Company is not very acquainted with the Force Protection business and it was noticeable as far is the excessive "micromanaging" of every aspects of the operations. Supervisors at different levels were not part of the – more...  decision making process of the force protection policies, which in the long term resulted in demotivating issues. Personally, the excessive control of every decision made me feel like a mere phone operator/dispatcher rather than a security specialist. As far is the Company advancement/job security management aspect, i have to rate it low as well. Scarce if not zero feedback on advancement and opportunities to move on another contract in a different location. Pay was all right, overall. Learning experience indeed but zero certifiable skills added to my "tool" belt. I met great people and that makes up for the shortcomings of the ITT FP on this project. – less

I was not employed long enough to learn much about ITT. All ITT personnel I met were professional, polite and courteous.

I would report to work and assess what needed to be done. I would then begin repairing the electrical equipment as needed. I had few great superviors and my co workers made the environment very fun. the most enjoyable part was learning something new almost everyday

A typical work day is from 7:45 am to 8:15pm with the emphasis on producing procdures to adequately handle the soldiers account requests to communicate with other entities within the theatre. I've enhanced my knowledge of the difficulties and obstacles to overcome in a harsh and desolate environment. The team concept must be adhered to or no goals will – more...  be accomplished. The hardest part of the job is missing loved ones and staying alert to the dangers that are present. Working at ITT was a great experience. Working with other students to assist them with getting a better understanding on material was great.

Provide desktop support. Replace PC hardware as needed. Run updates as needed. Tutor students in the IT program. There is always something new and exciting to work on.

Work Days varies from day to day. I have learn what it is like to work for a Union Company, Also how to deal with people whether they be consumers, co-workers, or management and the different personalities and ways of thinking. Very good company to work for. They took care of me from beginning to end.

I worked 8 hour days, 5 days a week, with the opportunity for overtime throughout the year. Excellent pay scale and work atmosphere. My co-workers were great people to work with, as well as the management.

Productive company , always willing to promote. Great working with soilders being a retired army

Nothing is carved in stone here. Positions, money, schedules, holidays, overtime, security, rules, policies, regulations, etc... everything changes randomly from quarter to quarter... They need to design a worker drone to do this job... they would probably be happier.

I was very productive daily meeting new students and helping them achieve their educational goals.

A typical day was doing data entry. I also had the experience of learning new things; such as, S1000D database, building a Bill of Materials (BOMs). Management and co-workers were great to work with.

In the end if you admit students this is a rewarding position but too many cold calls to those not interested and very unstable work hours including many nights and weekends.

Was a good opportunity to work in England. Was able to advance from Technician to Reginal Manager in a year.
