The specialty contractor designs, fabricates, and manufactures sheet metal work, as well as air conditioning/heating, and medical gas and plumbing/piping systems. It also provides system repairs, maintenance, and emergency services. With projects covering 30 states, Ivey Mechanical drives preconstruction and construction, and prefabrication work for commercial and industrial facilities, correctional, health care, and government contracts. The company operates through service offices dotting the Southeast US. It is owned by CEO Larry Terrell along with members of Ivey Mechanical's management team.
The company evolved from a local Mississippi business, known as Ivey's Plumbing and Electrical Company, in 1947. It was acquired by its current management in 2003.
