Ivie & Associates, Inc. is currently interviewing for Corporate Services Print Specialists (CSPS) in the Direct Mail print category.
The primary role of the position is to manage the print production workflow and ensure accuracy and standardization of all estimates and purchase orders for the Direct Mail category. The CSPS will ensure that all incoming requests for quote meet the minimum requirements for estimating and that all specifications represent the best value proposition for the project and meet current United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations. The CSPS will coordinate the estimating process, analyze submitted bids and prepare client estimates.
Once a project has been awarded, the CSPS will be responsible for managing the project from production through billing. The CSPS will ensure that all available Ivie and vendor resources are aligned to produce each project in a streamlined, cost-effective manner with the highest degree of quality.
The CSPS will coordinate with vendor resources and USPS representatives on industry best practices for Direct Mail logistics and manage a project’s delivery plan through completion.
The CSPS will coordinate with Ivie and vendor resources on Direct Mail in-home tracking processes on all projects and manage daily tracking reports for each client.
Select Projects will require the CSPS to attend Quality Control checks to ensure color quality and consistency on the printed pieces. Travel to local and out of state print facilities will be required as needed.
The Direct Mail CSPS is expected to:
·* Assist clients and client account teams with print questions and provide informed recommendations
- Ensure that clients and client account teams receive the highest level of service
·* Maintain recurring client reports and understand nuances of each client
·* Manage projects in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner
·* Ability and desire to learn quickly and continuously about the evolving print industry
·* Ability to adopt and follow company Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to multi-task to effectively manage several projects at various stages daily
·* Ability to communicate effectively
·* Speak, read, and write in the English language
Education and Experience
·* 2-4 year college degree or equivalent
·* Experience in print purchasing or related industry
·* Working knowledge of print production processes
·* Working knowledge of print/paper/logistics industry practices
·* Working knowledge of United States Postal Service regulations and processes
·* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
·* Experience with print project management software concepts
·* Familiar with print methods and the basic operation of commercial printing facilities
·* Travel as required by Manager
·* Temporary assignments (out-of-town)
