Ivoclar Vivadent is a great and strong organization within its industry. The product portfolio is diverse and industry recognition is high. In addition, the salary and benefits are great.
However, from an internal culture standpoint, this place is way behind the times. There is no progressive thinking allowed and management "plays scared" in just about every decision being made. Approvals are micromanaged on a level that I have never seen before, and there is a lack of flexibility in terms of work hours and expectations.
If Ivoclar were to make a few small changes such as allowing employees to work from home once in a while, or have an increased role in decisions without shutting them down before even proposing, it would be night and day.
