Pros: very few remain.
Cons: too many to mention
The arrogance of too many VP's is destroying the motivation of the highly skilled people that work within the company. Too many of the top performers have left or are being driven to search out better opportunities and will be leaving the company soon. If the new CEO can get a clue she will slash and burn a significant number of over promoted middle management folks and bring upwards some of the recently acquired folks. If she fails to take drastic action and knock some sense into the management chain, the company is doomed.

While individual contributors are often highly trained and dedicated, the Senior Management must find the proper balanced methodology to allow them to serve their customer's needs.
