Small venture capital company is seeking a FT Director of Human Resources. This position is accountable for the planning, organization, and implementation of all human resources functions. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Duties & Responsibilities -
The key duties and responsibilities include: hiring/onboarding, employment processing, policy development and oversight, payroll and benefits administration, records management, employee relations, health and safety, AA/EEO compliance, performance management programming, and facilitation of personnel transactions.
Essential Functions -
1.) Facilitate hiring process including interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding.
2.) Administer training programs.
3.) Update and maintain employee handbook, remaining current on all labor and wage guidelines and additional regulatory compliance within the states we employ.
4.) Maintain all employee records.
5.) Develop and oversee performance management process.
6.) Manage compensation and benefits with external benefits administrator.
7.) Serve as informational resource to both employees and leadership team.
8.) Promote culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
9.) Develop strategic plans to meet future corporate needs.
8-10 years experience in Human Resources required.
Bachelor's Degree required.
SPHR Certification strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
