Account Supervisor (Current Employee) – New York, NY – August 6, 2017
There have been numerous leadership changes, but lately things are getting better. It's just taken a while. It's a good group of people and a family environment, but certainly stressful depending on your account.
Travel & Expense Supervisor (Current Employee) – New York's – June 22, 2017
Working at J. Walter Thompson is a great stepping stone for recent college graduates. It's a great atmosphere and the company respects different cultures. I would advise friends or family to apply here.

Brand Planner (Former Employee) – Buckhead, GA – May 16, 2017
I loved my time working with JWT in Buckhead. The leadership did really well with helping their employees and the company move forward. Though the new leadership is focusing on building mostly masculine clientele, the work was good.
JWT's marketing science group provided many quick turnaround projects requested by account management, but few long-term programs to help the client grow (or maintain) in the long run.
I'm afraid that, though account management supported clients closely, and produced continual satisfaction, they (account people) may have lacked the foresight and marketing skills to keep that client contract at renewal time.
Creative Director, Senior Partner (Former Employee) – New York, NY – February 24, 2017
A good place to work, especially if you are starting out. Importance on working on large projects as a team member with multi-platform components and managing multi-disciplinary aspects. Agency is very responsive to client's needs. This is a very account driven agency.
A good way to learn the essentials.
A WPP Company, emphasis is on profits, not creative.
Young Commodore Account Management lead (Current Employee) – New York, NY – February 17, 2017
Smart business casual environment, open floor design, youthful energy, exciting and excited people to work with. I enjoy being there and am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow my skills as I contribute to some great things happening there.
Program Coordinator (Former Employee) – Atlanta, GA – January 23, 2017
Great place to work right in the heart of Buckhead. The office culture and people are incredible. Clients are very well known, but doesn't seem to be growing much which makes it tough for career advancements within the company. All in all great place to work.
Assistant Account Executive (Former Employee) – Detroit, MI – January 19, 2017
J Walter Thompson was a great place to work. Great training, promoted leadership, creative ideas, customer service, consulting clients in ways to develop and elevate their brands. Management was very accessible and hands on in the process of executing a project. The culture was being creative, being 'heard" about new ideas and trying new ideas, producing great products with highly motivated people.
Accounts Payable Specialist (Current Employee) – New York, NY – January 17, 2017
I have work at this company for over 10 years. I have worked with wonderful people. The company is all about the employees with given days and holidays off that accommodates both the employee and the employers.
One of the keys to success is having a clear vision of what your company does and who it benefits. A surface-only understanding of these things will, eventually, end up in failure. Mistakes. Not judging people on the important qualities they offer, but instead somehow being intimidated by those with the best capabilities. Stranger things happen, but I haven't seen as many anywhere else.
Executive Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – New York, NY – November 30, 2016
I worked there for 9 years and truly enjoyed my time and experiences. The only reason I left was to move back to Los Angeles and warmer climate. I highly recommend this for anyone into the Advertising field.
