I am looking at making a change to become an intermodal driver with JB Hunt out of Haslet, Tx. The recruiter is telling me that I must start with overnights and working weekends either regionally or locally. He is saying that I can get weekends off and days within 6 months for local work and even sooner if I am willing to drive regionally. I am also being promised not more than 2 nights out a week if I drive regionally. I want to know if what he is promising me is accurate or promises that will go by the wayside if I accept the position. I appreciate anyone's help and honesty who has experience with this. I want to make an informed decision.
