Business Premier Banker (Former Employee), San Antonio, TX – May 16, 2013
I answered calls and enjoyed every aspect of my position. I learned how to pick up signs for which i would offer products that best fit the client. Management could use improvement on assisting others to advance but over all is a good place to work.

Pros: stable company
Cons: low pay
It's an okay company to work for. Management can always leave something to be desired. It's a numbered driven company even though they try very hard to deny it. They will rpoduct push like no one else.

Day in the life of
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Elgin, IL – May 14, 2013
Pros: doctor office in the building and you do not have to pay for care
Cons: short lunches
a typical day at JP Morgan is coming in and being greated by the many friendly faces from co-workers to upper management and signing in to take your inbound calls. I speak to people who are relying on government assistance for food and cash and when they do not receive it, you have to be very sympathetic to their situation and ensure them there can – more... be some type of resolution even if it is only being able to give them the # for their local agency. That is the hardest part of the job, when they tell you their kids have not eaten in days because they did not get thier food stamps. The most enjoyable part of the day is when you get that call that you are going above and beyond for and you can reach someone at the agency and they are able to put emergency funds on their card. – less

Want to be bored to death? Then work here.
Foreclosure Specialist (Current Employee), San Diego, CA – May 14, 2013
Pros: health insurance/ paycheck every two weeks.
Cons: 30 minute lunches/ no opportunity for advancement.
Extremely boring, no room for advancement. The only way to make good money is to kill yourself out working overtime. It's a job, but definitely not a career.

Challenging Experience
Branch Manager (Former Employee), Benton Harbor, Michigan – May 14, 2013
Pros: growth opportunity
Cons: retention is high
Customer Service all day with Staff and Clients. Huddles: Team Building: Account Balancing: Mortgage Loans: Personal Banker goals: Feedback: ABM scheduling: Mentoring all employees in job responsibilities: Checking accounts, savings, loans, Investments, Business Analysis: Writing Business plans with Small Business Owners: Cold calling: Educating all – more... day is what I learn thoroughly to build a great rapport with employees, customer base. The hardest part is leaving at the end of the day. There is so much that customers need financial advice to financial goal planning, when you schedule appointments how important to stay on track to be successful to all.
I enjoy every customer and employee that walks in my Branch or even when they call for information. Without customers I would not have an income to get paid. – less

Fast Paced Environment
Sr. Loan Processor (Current Employee), Columbus, OH – May 13, 2013
Pros: helping others
Cons: always a deadline to meet
Everyday is a deadline. There is always a deadline when processing mortgage loan applications. Whether is be a rate lock deadline or setting a deadline for the customer to submit underwriting requirement. I have learned to be alert, attentive and pro-active in this job. Once I learn something new, I make sure to remember it for the next time the same – more... situation comes up. I use what I learn to mentor and train others once they come out of the training classes. The hardest part of the job is trying not to stress out and realizing that not everything is in your control. My goal is to always provide a great customer experience. The best part of my job is when people thank me for putting in a better financial situation. Everyone I work with is great. From the VP's to the assistants. Even though the envrionment can be stressful, management tries to do what they can by having "pep rallies" and other fun activities. – less

Pros: excellent pay
Cons: department lacks organization .
my job duties consisted of working with past due mortgage customers tha were in risk of forclosure. JPMorgan Chase
Teller (Former Employee), Hicksville, NY – May 13, 2013
I strated working for them in December 2009 as a part time teller. I was still in school in New York while working for them. It was my first time at a banking industry position. It was a great company to work for, however teller position comes with a lot of stress. It is not that I could not the stress that made me leave the position, I just wanted – more... to move up in the banking industry before, so I took the position with Bank of America. 90% of my decision of moving to Bank of America was because I was moving back to Maryland from New York.

Overall, I liked working for JPMorgan Chase. It was a great company and taught me A LOT. – less

I love being an Executive Administrative Assistant/Property Administrator
Property Administrator (Current Employee), Newark, De – May 13, 2013
Pros: i love to assist, support by making tasks easier and organized while trying to find better ways to do things.
Cons: in this instance the working alone for 3+ months waiting for the job transition to take place.
My day consist of assisting the needs of staff in the SE Region. I have great management support and love the staff I support.

My job is currently changing because my department is moving to Florida where most of the properties are that my manager manages and supports.

The hardest part has been the last three months of being alone in an office while – more... this transition occurs especially when I consider myself a people person.

Another position is being opened for me but I'm not sure it will be the same and I wanted to see what was other opportunities may be out there. – less
