MB Operations Specialist II (Former Employee) –  Lewisville, TXAugust 21, 2017
Great benefits, good management, compensation is not comparable unless you leave and come back, unclear job paths and very little assistance from direct manager.

Not the best
Relationship Banker (Former Employee) –  Armonk, NYAugust 21, 2017
Not a great place to work:
understaffed
unable to take lunch
vacation vetoes due to under staffing- all to save money at the employees expense. OK benefits but huge deductible. Manager only cares about personal advancement. Moving up very difficult so many layers of people and paper. Employees rat on each other since they are jealous. Not able to take lunch and never get 2 days off in a row. work almost every Saturday
Pros
medical benefits
Cons
bad hours, hard to move up, can't get vacation when you want, work all major holidays and Saturday

Secure and mildly enjoyable, but bad eggs can easily ruin your experience
Lead Teller/Operations Specialist (Former Employee) –  FloridaAugust 20, 2017
While going through training within the company, I had the opportunity to meet several managers throughout my area that were pleasant and fun to work with. However, I eventually was placed under management that I was unfamiliar with, and began to experience an uncomfortable and overwhelming work environment with a zero-tolerance for even negligible mistakes.
Pros
benefits, advancement, good pay
Cons
stressful, sedentary work environment, overwhelming

I loved jp morgan chase! I would still be working there had the site I worked in not closed down in my town. It is a great place to work and if they have on in the area I would highly recommend it!

High security stressful job. Lots of changes in processing the checks. Seemed like once you learned something the process was changed. Glad it was temporary. All types working there, You were on camera the entire time you were working. Certain attire could be worn.

Work demands vary widely depending on the team that you are on. Some are under high-pressure demands, others can coast. Coworkers can be assumed to be competent or better. Most are pleasant to work with.
Pros
professional coworkers, good benefits, vacation schedule
Cons
weekend and night work expected with some teams, hard to get recognition

Great Company, Bad Job
Mortgage Banking Associate (Current Employee) –  Monroe, LAAugust 20, 2017
JPMorgan Chase Bank is a great company with endless opportunities for advancement. Its mortgage banking operation is truly superior to the competition.

Unfortunately, there are bad jobs among the good and vary greatly depending on work location. My advice: Work for JPMC in New York only.
