Offshoring Jobs By the Droves
Technology Lead (Current Employee) – NYC Area – October 21, 2016
Unfortunately, if your are an Technologist in the USA, JPMorgan is a bad place to be. The have had hiring freezes in North America for a few years and going on indefinitely. 5-10% of the North American workforce is laid off with their jobs directly going to low cost offshore countries. All U.S. jobs held by employees who resigned are immediately off-shored, as part of their strategy to offshore as many jobs as possible through attrition and avoid paying severance packages. U.S. technologists have had big bonus cuts, benefits reductions, and poorer work conditions forcing them to leave. Find a better company if your in the US, especially in a high cost U.S. region.
Relocation Opportunities to third-world countries if your interested.
No Growth, lots of offshoring of jobs
