Technical Support (Former Employee), Dallas, TexasMarch 3, 2014
Pros: salary and benefits
Cons: demanding resellers and customers, no breaks, no opportunties
In technical support, you are expected to receive back-to-back calls, e-mails and assigned cases. You are expected to skip breaks and bathroom trips will be monitored for abuse.

The culture is fend for yourself and if you are not family or connected it will be difficult to advance.

Training is limited and in may cases you will be expected to the expert – more... on call. The department mantra is "deal with it".

The hardest part of the job is dealing with demanding customers. The most enjoyable is the relationship with your colleagues and resellers.

Unless you have a thick skin, you may want to seek opportunities elsewhere. – less

Good company, too much instability in this location.
Internet Solutions (Current Employee), Lenexa, KSJanuary 21, 2014
Good company, too much instability in this location. Lack of leadership over a couple of years led to out of control projects and mismanaged employees. New leadership is trending in the right direction.

Pros: great management
Cons: uncertainty about the status of bank clients
I processed checks delivered by various banks. I learned a great deal about balancing large numbers for multiple banks. The hardest thing about the job was making deadlines and the most enjoyable thing was the people with whom I worked with.

This company values its employees. A career path is definitely attainable with this company, especially on a technical level. The hardest part of the job is not being able to progress through career pathing at your own pace.

A nice work environment
Application Analyst (Current Employee), Birmingham, ALSeptember 24, 2013
Pros: relaxed environment
Cons: pay
Jack Henry is a laid back place, the dress code was really relaxed. I have learned a lot about banking software. Setting up the user interface that allows the bank to more cost effective by streamlining the process. I have learned to setup transaction sets per bank, trained customers, and setup equipment for live day. Management is good willing to assist – more... when needed. My coworkers were pleasant and willing to help when needed. The hardest part of my job is there are only 2 people in support and it can get really backed up when we do a release. The relaxed environment is the most enjoyable part of my job. – less
