Founded by entertainment booking agent Jack Morton, the company traces its roots back to 1939. It is a subsidiary of advertising and marketing services conglomerate Interpublic.
Amid the economic downturn, Jack Morton's revenues have fallen as its clients, especially those in the automotive and high-tech industries, scaled back their marketing budgets.
