Could be fun and a productive place with right management
Cashier (Former Employee), Moreno Valley, CA – May 22, 2013
A typical day at work consisted of hard work. I learned to multitask, use the cashier, and bag food. My coworkers were both friendly and rude. Some had attitude when i asked for help, but otherws were friendly and did not mind helping at all. they did not train me correctly, would get attitude if asked for help. The hardest part of my job was dealing – more... with an unfair manager. Things were not running smoothly like the way they should have been. Team too unorganized. But the most enjoyable was the customers, meeting new people everyday and building a connection with them. i'd see a lot of the same people there daily, and in order for them to want to return i had to show them a welcoming time. I learned about different types of people, and how to handle in different situations. – less

Fast paste and good environment
Food Quality Specialist (Former Employee), Turlock – May 19, 2013
Just mostly fast paste and keep up with the flow of the job. Management is good, keeps on top of things. Co-workers are good to work with.

Overall pretty good
Order Selector (Former Employee), Dallas TX – May 18, 2013
Pros: loved being on my own at work. i can work independently, and do not need much assistance in problem solving. 24 hour warehouses are good for me, seeing how i love working nights more than mornings.
Cons: management responsibilities sometimes passed to other employee's, poor communication, sometimes would run out of product in the line or improper stocking, would make pulling the workload a lot more difficult, sometimes management did not seem to care.
I worked 3 p.m to 1 a.m/10 hour shifts. I learned how to drive forklifts sit down & stand up. Management was decent, but lacked communication. Loved my co-workers!. Hardest part of the job was picking up slack of the previous shifts. Most enjoyable was the solitude and flexible work days and shifts. Always needed orders to be pulled, so it was very – more... nice if I wanted extra hours. – less

Cashier- Customer service (Former Employee), Rosemead,CA – May 17, 2013
Pros: good job experience
Cons: short breaks
My typical day a work was helping out the costumers as well as my fellow coworkers and cleaning my job space.I learned the costumer is always right and to have lots of patients with our costumers but also have fun. My coworkers were very helpful and friendly.I think the hardest part of the job in my opinion is keeping up with everything when u first – more... start but thankfully i'm a fast leaner so i got it all quickly. My most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people each day. – less

Flexible work schedule and close location to home
crew (Former Employee), Canyon Country California – May 16, 2013
Pros: working with different cultural co workers
Cons: some of the shift leaders had bad customer service.
Very fast paced work environment. All the employees had good attitudes toward customers no matter how much was bothering them.

The management was pretty strict with us but it helped with learning how to work under different kinds of stress.

Manager
Cashier (Former Employee), Houston, TX – May 14, 2013
Management at the moment I worked for Jack in the Box was very unstable and rude. For instance on one occasion the manger lost control of the drive through and he threw the head set at me. Which then I only stepped away and spoke with upper management. I eventually quit because that certain manager made things difficult for me in my work environment.

productive and smelled really nice with lots of food
Employee (Former Employee), Sherman, TX – May 11, 2013
Pros: half off of lunch
Cons: not enough space for so many people
A typical day at work started at first as being really exciting and i was determined to do my best .Things i learned first off, their is a reason why they don't allow people to date at work .Second, i learned is how to work efficiently and with people. My co-workers were always nice to me and we always had fun in work and out of work. The hardest part – more... of the job was the heat and not so nice customers. the other hardest part of the job was dealing with the shift leader saying hateful stuff every day and finally leading to me walking out telling him off saying that he was not a good leader and had poor judgement for the tasks of the day. The most enjoyable part of the day was walking in with a smile and laughing with the customers. – less

Good part time job.
Team Member (Former Employee), Kansas City, KS – May 9, 2013
Never know what you walk into wether if the place is running good or if you're going to walk into a big mess. Then on top of that the managers were hard to workin because some didn't really care or the ones that did were hardly there. Some co-workers were easy to get along with but also had people that didn't want to work then that makes your job harder – more... because you have to pick up the slack. The job itself was very easy to do but the people there just makes it hard to work there. – less

It was...well, ok.
Crew Member (Former Employee), Bakersfield, CA – May 8, 2013
Pros: fun and enjoyable enviornment
Cons: no time for myself
I was constantly bouncing between morning, noon and night shift.
I loved my job because it kept me busy but I had no time for myself.
I already had 5yrs of costumer service experience but what I learned from this job was how to use my multi-tasking skills and to really listen to the costumer, otherwise I would get their orders wrong.
