About Jackson-Feild Homes
The Jackson-Feild Homes Foundation was established in 1997. It is a Virginia nonstock corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes supporting Jackson-Feild Homes.
The Foundation provides financial support for programs, special and capitol projects assisting neglected, abused and at risk girls in a residential – more... setting.
It offers funding for activities that serve the physical, educational, emotional and spiritual needs of individual students. A major goal of the foundation is to educate, inform and foster new relationships, while nurturing exsisting ones, which strengthen and encourage individual donors to establish Planned Gifts and Bequests designating the Jackson-Feild Foundation as the beneficiary.
A set of financial guidelines are in effect and insure:
that JFH follows sound budgeting procedures and adheres to the budgets approved by the JFH Board after consultation with the Foundation Board,
that both of the Boards are kept adequately informed as to the financial condition and prospects of JFH and the Foundation both before and during the fiscal year,
that all contributions, grants, bequests and other funds received by JFH or the Foundation are properly accounted for and applied to the purposes for which they were intended,
that all contributions are transferred to the Foundation on a periodic basis for management and dispostion by the Foundation in support of JFH,
that the Foundation provides supplemental funding to JFH for scholarships, capital improvements and other purposes as and when needed in accordance with the Guidelines, and
that JFH and the Foundation maintain their legally separate status with a common mission of serving the girls at Jackson-Feild Homes.
An independent audit is conducted annually with combined statements for Jackson-Feild Homes and the Jackson-Feild Homes Foundation. A copy of the audit is available upon request. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
