Asst. Teacher, Centerville, GA - August 12, 2013
I love the kids and the environment. When i get to work I clock in head to my room and release the teacher. I then put up cots from nap and get snack ready. after the kids have had snack we all go to the carpet and I read them two books and we sing songs together. After that I get blocks out for us all to play and interact together. Something we go outside if the weather permits. when its time I put seat them on the carpet and put on a movie on so that I can clean my room and until parents arrive to pick up their kids. I have learned to have patience and that every child is unique in their own way. Don't really associate much with the management because of the gossip that goes on. Only speak to them when I need them. I love my co-workers, they are easy to work with and we get alone and communicate very well. Dont really have a hardest part of my job. Most days are good, and some are okay. I think the kids feed off of the way you come into the center. If you having a bad day then they are going to catch on to that, and they will have a bad do also. The most enjoyable part of my job is making the kids smile and happy. If I am down they cheer me up with lots of hugs. i have gotten so attached to them and they are attached to me.
