Students are shown real-world applications for the things that they are required to learn. Over the past 5 years, our API score has increased to a current high of 734. LAUSD inspects and certifies JJMS as a public school on an annual basis. JJMS has full WASC accreditation as if it were a private school. Parents and teachers are active and significant partners in school decision-making. Bullying and teasing are not tolerated. Students have the opportunity to earn rewards for high grades and good behavior. Intervention and support is provided for students who are struggling to master the course work.
