Maintenance
Maintenance (Former Employee) –  New Britain, CTMay 11, 2015
Cleaning between 5 to 8 building and offices a day 7 days a week. bathrooms, hallways, buffing & waxing, dusting, trash removal, vacuum, sweep, and mirrors. Team work was the key to making it work, management was not the best dude to this was his fist time owning and starting a business and everyone was family. We were all family there for co-works had their ups and downs. The hardest part was working for family and even though we got paid $9.00hr we had to wait to the 1st of every month to get are checks. The most enjoyable part was it was a laid back fast pace job and as long as you got your job done no one would bother you.
Pros
breaks in between bulidings
Cons
waiting til the 1st of every month to get pay check

Director of Operations (Current Employee) –  Cleveland, OHJanuary 22, 2014
Overall good place to work if you are trying to jump into the management world, schedule is more geared to those who are younger and single, not a family friendly job.

Learning everyday
Office Manager (Former Employee) –  Raleigh, NCMay 4, 2012
I would arrive 30 mins. early to prepare for the day. I would enter all invoices, bills, and any franchisee information. I had to keep daily track of all the bills a franchisee owner had inquired to assure payment was made to Jan-Pro. I would assist in franchise sales and telemarketing. I was always trying to create new forms to help the company become more efficent. Due to the hardship of a slow economy I was laid off.
Pros
leadership of supervisors
Cons
lack of work

Great People!
Sales Consultant (Former Employee) –  Minneapolis, MNApril 21, 2012
The cleaning franchise is a great business opportunity for young entrepreneurs who want to dip their toe into the pool of business ownership. Risk and reward are equally traded for administrative and marketing support. Strong franchise owners are motivated to build their business to the point of resale and move on to a more profitable business after they have gained their confidence and experience. I enjoyed working with the Twin Cities Jan-Pro Team and still keep in touch with the MPLS Office.
Pros
accountability, clear job description, relationships
Cons
saturated market, complaining franchise owners
