J.B. Henderson Construction Company Inc. (JBH) was founded in 1959 by Jack. B. Henderson providing architectural services. A mechanical division was added in 1967. Since 1990, Jack's son Mark G. Henderson has owned and operated the company. 1993 brought the addition of, a pipe fabrication facility for manufacturing black iron, stainless steel and other materials. Two years later a Class 100 clean room facility was added to keep up with the needs of the microelectronics industry. Currently, JBH has the capability to provide architectural, mechanical, pipe and sheet metal fabrication, and design build services to our customers. With some of the most demanding customers in the business including the State of New Mexico, University of New Mexico, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and a Rio Rancho Microelectronics Firm, we have exceeded their expectations in terms of meeting project schedules, safety requirements and quality assurance.
JBH is consistently among the largest General and Mechanical Contractors in New Mexico. We have the capability of performing up to 85 percent of our contracts with in-house personnel. JBH employs the best suppliers and subcontractors throughout the state of New Mexico and beyond. We are a union shop with a long history of successful labor relations. Our experience extends beyond New Mexico to areas such as Colorado, North Carolina and Costa Rica.
