At JCIM you inspected car parts to see if they had any dents, color or scratches...

I worked the midnight shift so it was in ways more layed back than day shift. I was assigned primarily to one machine. It required 2 people so I was able to train many different new employees which was very enjoyable. When my primary machine was down I worked on every machine in the plant at various times. I never thought of myself as a factory worker – more... but learned I was very good at it. Met a lot of different types of people. Most of whom were team players and enjoyable to work with. The hardest part of the job was when I had to report to my supervisor on the new employees, good news was easy but when they didn't work out I felt sad for them. – less

JCIM has been a good place to work overall. Great amounts of overtime, frequent new business coming in. Health benefits are good and at reasonable prices.

We have daily meetings updating us on the status with our customers, quality concerns, and what is upcoming for the day. I have had the pleasure of taking Kepner Tregoe training course for lean management. My coworkers and I get along great and work as a team. Different job everyday, learning how the part goes into cars. How many interior plastic car parts go into a car or truck. Management sometimes work with fellow workers. Hard part of the job is sometime presses go to fast to keep up. Best part of the day is breaks and going home.

Long work days, very draining work days poor and unmaintained equipment and presses that make my job alot harder and frustrating.The best part of my job is I'm paid well and the benifits are great and that is what has kept me here as long as I have been.

It could use better comunication between shifts.
The hardest part of this Job is getting everything done on time before the next shift comes on.
The most enjoyable about this job is that most of the people care about you!!

work is hard but coworkers are nice benefits are good the hardest part of the is the heat inthe summer vacations days

I learned alot while working at JCIM. We had the oppurtunity to get our hands dirty and repair equipment the right way.

Worked in Service Department, locating lost service molds and keeping track of all disposed service molds. Assisting Service Team with any general clerical duties. Maintaining Service Tool Data Base.

I really enjoyed my job everyday. the operators were good people. The job kept me busy, which i like. I learned alittle about quality and scheduling operators for jobs.

A fast pace job always some thing new never the same day every day. Enjoy the challenge of the daily situations that happen. Co-workers were always willing to help out and be part of a team.

A typical day,hearing operaters complain they want their press slowed down.

Very inconsistent, lack of accountability throughout mgt, nepotism...

I learned how to work on serval machine I work on two machines at a time the pay was good and my supervisor was a good person to work for

You would come in and have a meeting at the begining of every night. Then you would goto your assigned press. Mangement wasn't the greatest but they did try. The hardest part of the job was working with co workers that could not speak english.
