Test Engineering Specialist (Former Employee), Melbourne, FL – May 17, 2012
Pros: cutting edge fiber optic technology
Cons: shipped too many good us jobs to asia
I enjoyed 10 years there; learned a lot from some world-class scientists and engineers. Would love to still be there; but thousands of US jobs were outsourced to the Far East.
Example: Productive and fun workplace with ping pong table

Wonderful people and enjoyable atmosphere. Challenging and interesting work. Unfortunately, corporate moved production from Indianapolis location to Mexico. Very little job security.
Analyst (Former Employee), Santa Rosa, CA – March 3, 2012
Pros: god pay, good people
Cons: advancement limited
Great time working at JDSU. A bit disorganized management staff, but overall direction seems good. Advancement seems a bit difficult unless you are a engineer.
