A typical day for me was a lot. From updating pilot hours (Total time and type in AC) to updating CBP list for passengers, crew and aircraft, to recruiting pilots for West and East coast domiciles.
I learned the value of attention to detail and balancing a heavy work load. Also that chemistry with co-workers is vital and important to a happy work environment.
Management was very meticulous as we weren't only in the aviation industry but the customer service industry. If the passengers weren't happy, then we were not.
Hardest part of the job was balancing the rapid growth that the company took on. Registering new CJ3's, while flying pilots in for the new iPad training class to flying other pilots out to CAE in Dallas for recurrent training.
Most enjoyable part of the job were the co-workers. Great group of people feeding off of each others positive attitudes and picking each other up.
