Continuous interaction with individuals and a sense of appreciation for providing companionship and performing duties.

Continuous interaction with individuals. One must always be sensitive to clients' needs. It is important to keep management informed of any unusual circumstances or criticisms that the client may have of other CNA's or even how they feel about the agency. Sometimes it is difficult to work back-to-back shifts because break times are limited. It is also difficult to be away from home when you are needed to work extra hours or weekend 12-hour tours.
