You will be misled as to your terms of employment. Realize when you are told how many hours you will be working that this may not be the case if budgeted sales don't hit target. You may also be offered a set hourly amount only to find out it changed (lower of course) when you receive your first check. If you work slightly over your time, the company will manipulate the time clock system to short you. However company will not tell you this as they need to purposefully mislead in order to fill vacancies. Abusive behavior from supervisory and management positions is tolerated. Company has policies that they neither follow or enforce, only selectively if it fits their best interests. Expect your personal life to be intruded upon regularly as a methodical attempt to break you down. Sexual harassment is frequent and only dealt with more seriously if it's male on female. Expect a homophobic work culture and to have comments frequently made towards you. The company expects you to deal with this on your own or suffer in silence. If you choose medical/dental/vision benefits plan on needed a second income to pay for it. Benefits cost up to $130 PER EACH bi- weekly paycheck, so don't realistically plan on being able to contribute anything to your retirement, even considering you can't make any contributions until you've proven you can endure this working environment for up to a year. High turnover, low morale and frequent absenteeism. In short: This company lacks integrity. Don't believe the hype and don't drink the cool-aid!
