The organization is delayering. Management knows this and are spending an inordinate amount of time preventing efficiency, to save their job. In the meantime, our competitors remain ahead. Don't you dare present any idea that saves money or time. You will be blacklisted.

I hated working there. It got so bad that I just didnt come in for my shifts. The manager is rude and called me out in front of customers. It literally brought me to tears and I had just started, Even the customers asked what was the managers problems and that they wanted to punch her. I never just quit a job without notice but in this case my sanity was more important.

Hated working with the Manager. She was back stabbing and belittling toward employees, as well as guests. Made it very unpleasant place to work. I got out as fast as I could and never go back. I have not stepped in that store since.

My coworkers were great overall. Of course, there were a couple if people who were hard to deal with, but that is normal everywhere you work.

In regards to the work environment, it can be difficult to have to get enough mailer sign ups, text message sign ups, and email receipt sign ups. Sometimes we had to sell an item of the month while having to work as fast as possible. If you work in the evening, it is slower which can be nice though.

Very stressful enviroment at my location. We were busy all the time and never had enough staff. Our location is one of the cheapest places to get fabric in at least two hundred miles so we'd be slammed constantly. There was a lot of pressure to upsell products, we usually had to push an "item of the month" on customers. We would be reprimanded if we didn't get enough sales. Overall very stressful and demanding.

If you love sewing and doing crafts you would love working here. Our district manager was John, and I enjoyed working when he was around. However, there was a little favoritism with one manager while I worked there. This manager is now gone and I would love to work there again.
