I've been working here for awhile now... This is my actual retail job I've had besides my other job. Typical day would be to clock in, and go over the agenda for today such as the sales goal, aware of coupons that are out, and what the manager wants us to work on either stock, put jewelry away, recover a department. I have learned what customer service truly means, sounds cliche but I really do understand what customer service means now. I love the management, I see on here people are upset about their management but not for me. I consider my JoAnn team members my family. The same thing for co-workers, we all get along pretty well. The hardest part of the job would be not having enough staff members when the store is busy, another thing would trying to multi-task picking up phone calls, registering, counting money, and answering questions at the same time it can be pretty hectic. The most enjoyable part for myself is seeing what other people make. My favorite seeing what people do is weddings.
