The profession of Nursing needs to be a little more diverse. The population of patients is diverse and I am a strong believer that every patient should be able to see someone the looks like them... also have someone that understands their culture and/or beliefs. The culture in general needs work... people do not have professional etiquette, especially when sending emails... people do not acknowledge you a person, they acknowledge you by what your job is... people sometimes walk pass as if you do not exist. The words good morning and excuse me, needs to be inserted into many of the employees vocabulary!!
