If you can avoid using a temp agency you will be better off. A lot of companies treat temporary employees like dirt. From my personal observations, companies dangle the carrot promising a permanent position and they just renew the temp contract over and over again. Working as a temp is the most difficult way to get into a company but sometimes it is the only way.
If they start renewing your contract instead of hiring you permanently, then it is a good idea to take the experience you gained and look for another job.

I have 3 friends that work at J&J and they all hate it there. They are all looking for jobs because of the way they are treated and the unfairness of how people get promoted.
The stories that they have told me, I can't even post here.

I have read some bad things about Johnson and Johnson. I have been working for this company and it has been a great so far. I dont understand the bashing. Mind you I am there on a 6 month contract and like i said it has been great so far.

I had a phone interview for this position- it sounds like what I'm looking for, but after reading the comments here, I'm worried that I'd be going from bad to worse. Does anyone know how Ethicon in Cincinnati is? Does it have the same problems as the J&J companies being bashed here??
