Jolly Technologies Inc. ( New York, NY ) is looking for a Director of Sales to manage the sales of the manufacturer of business-to-business enterprise level secure identification and tracking software that runs on Micorosft Windows, the web and mobile devices. An employee who performs well in this job role may be considered to transition to Vice President of Sales (VP of Sales) of the company.

Jolly Technologies Inc. is headquartered in Redwood Shores, CA. Jolly has recently chosen New York, NY as the location for their east coast sales office and is aggressively recruiting staff for this office. This position requires entrepreneurial spirit and track record of building organizations from scratch.

Recruit, manage, discipline and mentor the sales staff
Define and oversee the administration of sales department policies
Establish procedures and communicate them to the customer service / sales team
Manage key channel accounts and develop new business
Define sales strategies and sales objectives for individuals as well as teams
Determine customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers
Enforce discipline by requiring to enter detailed sales transactions in CRM
Monitor sales pipeline, performance, and motivate staff to achieve key targets
Coordinate with finance, legal and HR on the entire sales process

5+ years of sales management experience as a director / VP
Experience in managing inside sales (direct) and channel sales
Experience in managing customer service / technical support for software products
Ability to lead diverse teams to achieve common goals
Good verbal / written communication skills
Technically proficient
Strong communication and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, GoToMeeting)
High-level of customer service
High-level of ethics and professionalism
Strong references from previous CEOs/VPs
