Skynet Media is currently seeking a Full-time Senior Web Developer.
The position requires both a mastery of building front-end web interfaces, as well as experience building web services and object oriented data models.
The ideal candidate is a self-directed, creative, efficient, high quality professional able to lead a team; one who understands business processes and can translate user needs into user-friendly applications on budget, on time and at an exceptional quality standard.
Full-Time salary and bonus is commensurate with experience.
Deliver working web applications using primarily PHP and jQuery
Work with design team to build user-friendly client-side web interfaces
Work with engineering team to build high-performance web services
Lead a development team and delegate tasks efficiently
Participate in daily peer code reviews
Use technical expertise and common sense to meet business objectives
Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience of hands-on web development
Passion for building world-class applications
Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS, jQuery, PHP, SQL
Have an opinion on design patterns and architectural frameworks
Experience with dynamic content and high traffic volume
Familiar with Git
Familiar with Memcached
