A typical day at work was amazing. The organizing shoes, cleaning, assisting,opening and closing, and cashiering.

Daily deposits, inventory of all shoes and order any that was needed, employee scheduling and tracking of commission. My very first management position held, I learned it wasn't easy to balance hours to all employees needs but was able to compromise and keep all satisfied. Working part time, they don't let you move up to full time, too much work for not enough money.

The job requires real sales work with little reward. Promotions are not rare but sometimes the commission is below minimum wage.

Journey's is a great place to start a job or entry position into management. It however can peak very fast if someone is looking for advancement.

i enjoyed and learned a lot working for the journeys company. if it wasn't for me having to move to Alabama i would still be employed there.

This was a fun relaxed environment where you could feel comfortable with your peers and supervisors. The environment was relaxed and the commission incentives were awesome as well as the discount.

A typical day would be, when i got there i would go and set my things down in the backroom and then i would clock in. Then from there my manager would tell me to either help work on stocking the back room or to be on the sales floor. I learned a lot about teamwork.

Very laid back job. Pay was ehh.....but honestly the work wasn't something to merit a high pay rate unless you were a manager. Good place for people in school to work for. Also great discount!

The type of retail products sold here gives this place a more relaxed atmosphere. Come as you are.

I loved this job to death because it was my favorite store and i love the shoes and clothes in the store. management was great and the hardest part of the job was the standing for long periods of time. The most enjoyable part of the job was the fun work enviroment.

Help customers and get them they want and use the register. I learn shoes size in different ways learn more of the trendy styles that coming out. Management had a daily assignment for employees. Nice relaxing work environment with little stress. A cool hip job with lively music playing daily. It is definitely a nice Job to have.

My most pleasant experience at Journey's was learning from my managers. They knew how to treat their customers and employees. However, we always had leaks from the Petro's upstairs.

I got to work with people from all over the country and world working their. I gained a lot of skill sets there also from advancing from Sales to becoming a Team leader. The management there was pretty relaxed and understanding towards things protantaing and not protanting work. I don't think the job was hard at all I learnt more than anything there.
