Supervisor/Vendor (Former Employee) – Oakland Coliseum – December 8, 2011
Juma Ventures is a great non-profit organization that helps inner city youth in Oakland and in San Francisco get employed and get into college. I would recommend any high school student sign up for the program. The program offers so many opportunities and it gives you work experience that you can take with you to other jobs. And not mention that staff are great and they really care about you and help you to accomplish your goals.
they employ you, help you get into college, help you save money, and they help you reach your goals.
Barista (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – August 9, 2014
Juma Ventures is a non profit organization that helps teenagers find work, build skills, that we will use to benefit us in life. I had a role model like supervisors that made coming to work a great experience for me, they taught me so much . My co-workers were young free-spirited personalities, that made us a unique staff. A typical day at work would be walking through the AT&T ballpark stadium, clock in, and prepare my inventory for my station with my co-worker. The most enjoyable part of the job is entertaining customers with a smile.
Okay place to work and sell product throughout stands
Vendor (Former Employee) – Oakland, Ca – August 14, 2015
I would get there then go to clock in. Then I would be told what product I would be selling that day out of ice tea, ice cream, or coffee. After I sell around 5 or 6 trays full of the product I would then come count up the money with the manager and work out all the transactions.
