Educational Sales

100% Commission

The primary purpose of your job position is the professional selling of WFC,Oriential Trading, Yankee Candle, Kids Korner , and other services in order to achieve and maintain goals and optimum sales growth. You are also responsible for the coordination of delivery for these orders. All duties are to be done in accordance with established policies and procedures and as directed by your supervisor.

Marketing Functions
 Interview clients to determine needs, conducts functional assessment and obtains required paperwork and signatures in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.
 Achieves and sustains an acceptable record of closings, utilizing excel reports for lead management system and an effective plan of telephone contact, follow-up, and appointment rate for leads received.
 Conducts telemarketing and emails in a professional manner in order to establish and maintain credible relationships with prospective clients and/or decision makers.
 Networks by scheduling meetings, presentations and/or events with the external community to increase lead and referral bases.
 Provides weekly reports on phone calls, appointments, tours, etc. in an organized, timely and consistent manner.
 Assists in coordinating transfer logistics of residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.

 Functions as a member of the team.

 Assists new hires in learning work procedures to enhance productivity.

Working Conditions
 Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional hours will be expected for particular assignments, Work from home.
 Is subject to frequent interruptions.
 Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends when necessary.
 Is involved in community/civic matters/projects.

Educational Requirements
 Must possess, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a related field... or 4 years of outside sales expiernce or 8 years of in home sales.

 Background in Sales or Marketing
 Two or more years experience in sale of intangibles preferred.
 Basic knowledge of prospecting and networking.
 On-the-job training provided in launch procedures.

 Must demonstrate a warm, friendly, congenial personality with an understanding and empathetic attitude toward schools.
 Organized, goal oriented, and self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
 Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Public speaking helpful.
 Sound character with the ability to respond well under pressure.
 Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
 Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Schools and groups and the general public.
 Must be calm and level-headed in emergencies.
 Must be well groomed and possess ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
 Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
 Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing sales practices.
 Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
 Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
 Be knowledgeable in the use of computers, data input and output, etc.
 Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm. Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
 Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
 Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
 Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
 Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel.
 Must be able to operate office, business and accounting machines.
 Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 20 feet.
