Door to Door Sales (Former Employee), Rocky River, OH – May 21, 2012
Working in a door to door sales department is never an easy task. You put yourself in risk for danger each time you knock on someones door. The company was not completely honest when hired of the job itself as well as compensation.
Sales Representive-Door to Door sales (Former Employee), Liverpool, NY – May 5, 2012
Pros: excellent pay-100% commision
Cons: long strenious hours
Interpersonal & intrapersonal communication skills, while maintaining a professional outlook-profile. Door to door sale's meeting a wide range of ethinicitys and race's, offering a lower/fixed rate rather than paying actual utilititys cost. In other words simply just switching suppliers for thier electric and gas. The most difficult part of this position – more... is having to convice the customer that the program is actual here to assist them on thier utility bill. With that said the most enjoyable part of this position is meeting various people & cultures. Overall I would personally recommend this employment position to everyone that has prior experiance in sale's. – less

Just Energy is a great job but not many individuals hack it. you are an independant contractor reviewing the goods of our green light company. Enrolling as many customer as you can and that qualify. It is a door to door sales so your either working in heat or cold and sometimes dangerous when your walking alone at night and you dont know if it is a – more... dangerous neighborhood or not; you also work all day and night. – less
Sales Marketing (Former Employee), Southfield, MI – April 30, 2012
Pros: we had lunch and sometimes they paid.
Cons: 30 min breaks.
The typical day at work was like walking door to door selling cookies..! I've learned how to take rejecting well and to remain calm at all times. The management was excellent they treated you with respect and treated us all the same. My co-workers were cool. The hardest part of the job was getting rejected all day and all night. The most enjoyable part – more... of it was having a good team of co- workers and managers behind you all the way. – less
Sale (Current Employee), Houston Tx – March 5, 2012
Door to Door sales selling green energy to make for a better city. Assisting customers understand why it’s good to go 100% green energy and how going green would help them save money. Also help customers see that that going green was better for their kid’s wellbeing. To become an asset to an organization in which my skills and education will have application – more... to persuade and communicate effectively with clients and team members. – less
Independent Contractor (Former Employee), New York, New York – March 5, 2012
Pros: fast advancement, bonuses
Cons: unstable income, commission based
Its great job to do to make extra money on the side or another form of income. But for stability I wouldn't recommend you work this full time. The incentives are very nice but then again the training is horrible. It can be very aggrevating especially when there is no solid foundation within the company.
CSR (Former Employee), Mississauga – February 13, 2012
Pros: benefits, steady employment for those who like csr work, easy access location
Cons: factory like setting, poor lighting for eyes, found air quality poor
work is reviewed and scored daily as a CSR. Little tolerance for those who do not adapt quickly. Office space is nice at front entrance however call centre is located in back in a factory like setting of an industrial unit.
TAammy – April 18, 2012
how much do they make as a CSR?
