The candidate will provide day to day operational support services for various LAN services.
Candidate will be responsible for managing Active Directory domain services for Windows 2003 domain and provide migration method to Active Directory 2008 domain services including all Microsoft core services (DHCP/WINS/DNS) and Infrastructure Management Services (CA/GPO)

- Strong in day to day AD/Exchange enterprise management at the domain enterprise level (not just creating accounts)
- Able to troubleshoot SMTP/AD/etc.
- Supports the organization in the design and implementation of network components, including support of development systems and assistance with testing.
- Troubleshoot and proactively monitor networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
- Provide documentation of network operating systems and network topology.
- Implement authorized network enhancements and special projects as assigned.
- Support and maintain recovery systems and operations, including but not limited to: maintaining backup system configuration, performing backup system upgrades, monitoring backups, and performing restores as needed.
- Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.
- Participate in planning, scheduling, and executing computer equipment installations, upgrades, and replacement projects.
- SME/MCSE in IT networking and Microsoft operating systems (XP/Vista, Server 2003/2008).
- Ability to provide expert level support for MS Exchange 2003/2007 in a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Must possess a strong technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, and File/Print, DFS, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active directory replication, certificate services) within the enterprise.
- Experience with server virtualization.
- Experience configuring and allocating storage using SAN/NAS appliances.
- Qualified candidates should possess strong experience with Active Directory, Exchange 2003/2007, SANS Operations and in writing scripts to automate operations in Batch and VBScript
- Experience maintaining and supporting backup operations of directory services.
- Securing Windows domain infrastructure according to best practice guidelines for secure computing.

Education & Skill Requirements
- 5 - 10 years experience.
- Bachelors (Strongly Preferred)
- MCITP: Enterprise Administrator (equivalent certification)
