Solid company that makes money every year, but lacks heart.
Pros: stable company with sound business practices
Cons: lack of corporate soul, vision or energy. negative vibe.
Kaeser Compressors is a privately-owned, German manufacturing company that makes a limited range of products for the air compressor industry. The sales focus is on new equipment, as opposed to solution, repeat or channel sales. Sales outlets are primarily through a factory-owned branch, full-line distributor, OEM or value-added sub-distribution. Kaeser is well known for its technical expertise and support, though information and viable customer service is hard to obtain from a corporate entity.
The work environment is almost entirely top-down. Management decisions are made by a small group of overseers. There is little room for upward movement in the organization. The company, however, does not exercise planned labor reductions to meet profitability numbers. The company is stable, yet lacks vision and energy. Management practices are generally negative, compared to a promotional attitude.
