Warehouse Selector, Reading, PA - October 19, 2016
I very briefly accepted a job at Karetas Foods, and boy was I disappointed. They use equipment so old and broken down it's dangerous. The cherry picker I used would break down when I was stuck in the air. They also have literally no management in the warehouse, so if you're new and need to ask questions, you're totally on your own. Tom Brosky will seem like a nice guy when you interview with him, and he will tell you that the job culture is great because people have been working in the warehouse for years. This is only partially true. The people have been working there for years, but they are all miserable old people. I had to listen to this old man Charlie scream at management on my first day. The guy was freaking out like a child. The warehouse is also full of divets and potholes, so driving the broken down old equipment is even more of a disaster. I could go on, but please do yourself a favor and keep looking.
