Kasa Indian is hiring immediately for a Head of Kitchen Operations

Kasa Indian (voted Best Indian Restaurant and Best Meal Under $15 in SF) is looking for a leader for its Castro kitchen operations. The role will involve running a very busy kitchen that serves our restaurant, two food trucks and catering businesses. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of something special!

The ideal candidate will have the following:

3+ years of kitchen management experience
Exceptional leadership abilities in connecting with people of different cultures and backgrounds
Great cooking skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Very high standards for excellence
MUST speak Spanish fluently

Responsibilities include:

Lead the kitchen to produce consistent, excellent food every day
Cook the main menu and specials regularly to stay connected
Provide constant oversight, direction and feedback to the kitchen staff
Hire and train new staff
Improve our operations to reduce food costs, labor costs and waste without sacrificing food quality
Maintain a spotless kitchen and storage area
Manage our relationships with food vendors
