Great Place to Start
Research Analyst (Former Employee), New York, NYMarch 23, 2015
There's a large learning curve there. If you are right out of college this is a great place to start. Not so great pay, lots of turnover but you will learn the fundamentals

Typical Corporate Environment Entry Level Position
sales assistant (Former Employee), New York, NYMarch 17, 2015
Pros: Nice people to work with, good foot in the door to the industry, not challenging.
Cons: WAY underpaid, boring, undervalued, poor opportunity for advancement.
Basically this is a place to get your foot in the door after graduation. The Sales Assistant position could be performed by someone without even a high school degree and you are very poorly compensated (if you don't have a second job and expect to live in the city you're in the poverty level). The turnover for Assistants is quick; half of them leave to get other Assistant positions elsewhere that pay more, have a quicker rate of job advancement, and give you more responsibility. Most of the people you work with are pleasant, some really help you out to take full advantage of the position, so it's not the worst work environment. However, for someone who likes a busy day and a challenge this job was torture somedays.

National Sales Coordinator (Former Employee), Chiago, ILOctober 8, 2014
Pros: 9-5, hour long lunches
Cons: not much room for promotions
If you are seeking a job right out of college this is it. Katz is a good balance of age groups, and everyone there love's to help and teach each other. You will learn a lot about the company, the industry, and make many contacts for future employment. Great seasonal work parties!!

Heavy volume, but great experience. You spend a lot of time on the phone and communicating via email between client radio stations and media buyers at all major agencies.

There is little room for growth here. The people are fun and it's a family environment. Many people have been here for years because it's easy to get comfortable.

I loved working at Katz! The division I worked in was like my family away from home. We had a great leader that encouraged us to be the best we could be. The team work was exceptional!
